+ DISTURBIA VENUS BOOTS REVIEW +

Hello! I'm going to try to get back into the blogging thing. I used to do quite a lot of blogging, but for some reason I fell a little out of love with it. So, after fannying around with the layout for hours, I've decided on something that I actually like the look of.

Anyway, I'll be starting off my new blogging kick with a little talk about the Disturbia Venus Boots!
Now, when I first saw these I fell instantly in love. I've wanted a pair of chunky goth style trainers/boots and these ticked all the boxes.
They look dark and dangerous with their spike detail and I especially love the chain detail at the front as it jingles when you walk.

Want to know something else I love? The fact that they have a bit of a platform! Being a short-arse, I'll take any height whenever I can get it! The platform is around 1.5 inches so it makes me feel a little taller, but not so much that you would feel unsafe on them. I'm terrible with heels of any kind so I was worried I might easily lose balance. No issue at all.

They fit true to size too. I bought my normal size and they fit lovely. Because they are so chunky you might open them and think they look small, but try them on and I'm sure you'll be surprised at how well they fit.

They are super light weight so you will be able to wear them for long periods of time without having to worry about having to lug around heavy boots all day.

They're not that cheap at £82, but if you compare them to similar brands they're definitely cheaper. If these were made by Demonia, you'd be looking at paying double the price!

So, to wrap it up, I would highly recommend these boots if you're looking for something a little less 'dressy' in your gothic footwear!

This post is NOT sponsored by Disturbia (sadly!) I bought these boots with my own money.

  1. These boots are gorgeous and they look amazing on you! :D I've been a fan of chunky near to knee high (can't think of the term for these!) gothic boots for as long as I can remember, but I love the fact you can ankle boots.

I especially love that these are light weight - as you say, you don't want to be weighed down by heavy boots all day, especially if it's a warm day! :D

I'm going to definitely head over to Disturbia to check out their range of boots! :D

So excited to see more posts on your blog. ^_^
